Central China Normal University (CCNU) is located in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province and a major transportation hub in China. It is a key comprehensive normal university directly under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.Itis highly recognized as an important base for cultivating brilliant talents for the country, as well as a superior training center for excellent teachers in higher learning institutions and high schools. At present, the total number of its full-time students is close to 30,000, among which over 10,000 are postgraduate students and 2700 are international students.Itis among the first higher institutions in China entitled to offer doctoral and postgraduate degrees, to assess and confer the titles of professor, associate professor and also doctoral supervisor.So far, there are 15post-doctoral research stations, 14 doctorate authorization First-level discipline, 33 master’s degreeauthorization First-level discipline, 17professional degree authorization categories, 92 doctoral programs, 180master’sprograms in CCNU, forming acomprehensivediscipline system including philosophy, economics, law,education, literature, history,science, engineering, agriculture,management and art, with its strength in basic disciplines and a distinguished feature in teacher’s education.According to the 2015 China’s University Evaluation and Investigation Report released lately by China’s Alumni Association, CCNU rankstop30thamongChina’s top universitiesas well as top30thamongChina’s research-oriented universities,and is honored asaFive-star University of China.
In order to recruit excellent overseas talents, CCNU has launched several programs such as“Recruitment Program of High-level Talents”and“Guizi Young Scholars Program”to attract and recruit a group of high-level talents and distinguished young scholars, especially from abroad.

(1) Talent Programs at the State, Ministerial and Provincial Level

(2) Recruitment Program of Top Academic Talents
In order to strengthen the construction of high-level talents team, and to attract and introduce a number of top academic scholars and leading figures in disciplinary construction both at home and abroad, CCNU sets up 10 special posts for the“Recruitment Program of Top Academic Talents”. An annual salary of RMB 500,000 to 1,000,000Yuanwill be provided together with other benefits including resettlement allowance, research fund and so on.

i.The applicantshould have obtained doctor’s degree in well-knownChinese or overseasuniversitieswith his/her undergraduate study as a full-time studentin universities whose level are equivalent to or higher than CCNU.
ii.Age limit for positions of professors orresearchers should be under 45 years old,and that forassociate professorsor researchersbe under 40 years old. PhD graduates should in principle beno more than 30 years old.
iii. Applicants shouldhavesolid theoreticalandprofessional knowledgewith a stable research focus and development potentials.
iv.Live up to the requirements and demands of the post applied.
